1. Look for any Rating/Reviews Online

Whether the company is local or long distance, you can look up their name online to find any reviews that previous customers may have made. Make sure they are legitimate by checking if these are third party sites or not and using the contact information provided to give them a call to ask about the company’s services. Also, check for how long they’ve been in business and how much experience they have as a whole.

2. What are the Rates/Charges to Ship your Vehicle?

To compare auto shippers and their rates, you’ll want to get an estimate from at least three companies. You can call them or use their online forms, and be sure to ask about any additional fees that may apply. A good company should not charge you an arm and a leg to ship your vehicle; they should give you the discount price range and provide you with all of the needed information.

When having any problems with your chosen shipper, you’ll want to have their customer service numbers on hand just in case an issue does come up that needs immediate attention. This way, you can ask them questions or file a complaint if required.

Depending on when you’d like your vehicle to be shipped out, you can choose when and where it is delivered using an auto transport company. For example, if you want to purchase a car in another state but can’t go there yourself, you can ask your shipper about having it delivered later. For example, find out if they require that you get the vehicle ready for shipping beforehand or if they would like to take care of it themselves. Also, ask about any fees that may apply and whether or not you’ll be responsible if damages occur during the transport process.
